Declaración de Artista (Artist Statement)

"Mi fotografía es, ante todo, un acto de rescate. Tras más de cuatro décadas recorriendo el mundo a través del fotoperiodismo y la publicidad, hoy mi mirada se detiene en la quietud de la naturaleza. Residir en Bariloche me ha permitido entablar un diálogo íntimo con la estepa, los lagos y los bosques, pero también ser testigo de su vulnerabilidad.

A través del formato panorámico y la macrofotografía, busco revelar los detalles que a menudo pasan desapercibidos y la majestuosidad que corremos el riesgo de perder. Mi obra no solo persigue la excelencia técnica y la fidelidad del estándar Fine Art; aspira a ser un puente entre la contemplación estética y el compromiso ético. Retrato lo bello para recordar que somos responsables de su permanencia, convirtiendo cada impresión en un testimonio de respeto hacia el medio ambiente."


"My photography is, above all, an act of rescue. After more than four decades of exploring the world through photojournalism and commercial photography, today my gaze lingers in the stillness of nature. Living in Bariloche has allowed me to engage in an intimate dialogue with the steppes, lakes, and forests, but also to witness their vulnerability.

Through panoramic formats and macro photography, I seek to reveal the details that often go unnoticed and the majesty we are at risk of losing. My work does not only pursue technical excellence and the fidelity of the Fine Art standard; it aspires to be a bridge between aesthetic contemplation and ethical commitment. I portray beauty to remind us that we are responsible for its survival, turning every print into a testimony of respect for the environment."
